This Week at St Paul's
As you know Hurricane
Sandy has brought death and destruction over a very wide path. Many are
suffering. The ELCA disaster relief is responding and provides a way for you
to help.

This Saturday is our November 3 Craft Fair. Please stop by to shop and to help out.
This Sunday we will have our special All Saints service with the reception of new member.
Next Saturday beginning at noon is our fall Empty Nester Luncheon. The Confirmation class is your host. Calling all empty nesters to attend and enjoy some good bonding.
On Sunday, November 11 we will have a cash collection to benefit the capital campaign of Camp Calumet, our Luther Camp in West Osipee, NH. Camp Calumet Lutheran serves Lutherans of all ages. The camp has a large summer camping program for youth as well as a family camping program. During the balance of the year the camp serves the needs of retreat goers of all ages. In order to better serve this population, the camp is engage in a three year fund raising program. St. Paul’s church council has pledged to raise $1,000 during this year drive. Of course, it is hoped that more will be raised. The council encourages you to make an offering each of the three years toward camp improvements. Please indicate Calumet on your check. Check the door of the Hospitality Room for signs for our May trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame and for the December 2 Advent Wreath Making and Stone Soup.
Our on-going collection of non-perishable single use items for the community meals continues. The high school class prepares the takeout meals four times a year. Our goal is 1,000 bags a year. A good source of food items is the Dollar Tree store in Greenfield. The class will again package the food on November 11 after church.
Do you knit, quilt, sew, or crochet? If so Project Linus needs you! This program enlists people to make blankets and afghans. For more information email A Notion to Quilt or call Deborah Jurek at 774-7164. Project Linus has donated over 4 million handmade blankets in the last 15 years!
